6v to 12v

my 54 crestline flatty is 6v positive ground
i have one wire altinator and 12v battery and coil
how do i reverse positive ground
at this point im just worried about engine compartment , i'll deal with lights and gauges later

This article was written for '55 T-Birds but 99% of it will apply to your '54.
I've not put an alternator in one of these early cars or I'd offer more advice.
