6v bulbs

Has anyone ever found a 6v compact dual element bulb. I need them for my park/turn signal lights on my 51 F1 truck. I tried the regular sized bulbs but they are too close to the plastic lens and started to melt it. I have seen 12V compact dual element bulbs but I don't know if they would work with a 6V system. Thanks
 
What number bulb are you using?

I believe the standard #1154 bulb is what was originally used.
There are 100's available on Ebay and even from Napa.
 
And if you need an Orange 1154? no longer in production.. The craft stores have some very good Orange glass paint! Newc
