68C bumpers

I need to purchase a set of rear bumpers for my 68C (that would be a slant windshield Cabriolet). Did this car use the slightly different rear bumpers from the other slants or did it use the standard bumpers? Inquiring minds want to know. thanks for the input.

Did the 68C ever have a full length bumper on the rear or were they the R and L separate bumpers? The JS's are vague in that it only says vehicles with front and rear full bumpers were 60". Were rear full lengh only used on Deluxe models?

The 3/21/29 Service Letter says cars with well fender could be ordered with full rear bumper.

To the best of my knowledge they use the longer more wrapped bumpers like the 31 slant fordors.. You can find them in the brattons catalog and i think it gives the measurements, I know Marco has something on his site also,

Cabriolets use the same rear bumpers are the Roadster, Coupe etc. I'm not sure you could use the Slant Windshield rear bumpers on a Cabriolet as you might run into clearance issues with the rear fenders- which are Coupe/Roadster fenders. Don't know for sure as I've never tried this combination.

Not to mention you'd need the longer bumper brackets to use the Slant W/S bumpers.

Only the 160 Fordor models used the special rear "fender guards" along with longer bumper arms due to the longer bodies. I've posted the pics below previously which shows a 160-A along with my original '30 Briggs Fordor for comparison.
