68-C Top Wood

I am going to need the wood top bows for a 68-C. Would you recommend Classic Wood in NC or Cuble Ford Wood in UT or another supplier ?

Classic Wood is THE VERY BEST !!! After pre-fitting my wood kit, I disassembled it and gave it two coats of tongue oil to seal it. After letting it dry for a few days, I re assembled it. This was on a 160-C SW Sedan.

when you purchase wood do you also get instructions and if so are they good?

No instructions, just wood pieces in a box. Makes you have to think. All his wood is made from original patterns and not per the drawings. So everything is real close but still needs some minor adjustments.

 

[400A-64]

Fitting the wood in a Cabriolet takes a little more time than an all steel SW Sedan. The form of the body moves more in a CABRIOLET than the fairley ridgid body of a SW Sedan. Take your time in the fitting. The final adjustments to the top bows will be made when you get your top kit.
