The bottom tail lamp clips that anchors the trim ring screws Are rusted off - gone. Looking for a solution since these rusted clips are riveted/swagged to the lamp body. The tail lamp rings are currently being held on by two screws at the top of each of them with the bottom flopping free.

The clip is a part of the assembly so there would not have been a separate replacement part available that I'm aware of. If a person fabricates one, it would have to be spring steel. Small pop rivets would work if it's not too large. Driven rivets take some tooling that most folks don't have but they could be driven if a person had the appropriate tooling. The clip on the bottom would get all the rain drooling around down there. A person might look for a used bucket with at least two good ones on top that could be used. There are not as many old car salvage yards around these days as there used to be. Might find something on flea-pay that is usable.

The actual clip was a service part (Basic PN 13A424) but FINAL ISSUE shows it as NR (Not Replaced) along with the fastener. I have the MPC IL but my scanner is on the fritz.

Your only hope (I would think) would be to find a good body asm or completes lamp asm.
