Would anyone know how many oms the gas tank sender is on a factory sender unit? The after market unit I have does not work with the gauge, I have tried two so far. The gauge is working fine, but I need a 3/8 line not the stock 5/16 line.
 
On my 55 sedan, the 5/16 fuel line went into a fitting sweat soldered in at the factory. That 5/16 fitting would not pass a 3/16 drill bit. I plugged the stock fitting and cut a hole on top of the tank, then made new 3/8 parts all the way in to a new home made sock. Worked great.
