I have a 61 falcon with 4 lug pattern,I want to swap it for a 5 lug pattern. I have a 74 maverick that has 2.79 gears and is 5 on 41/2 but it is to short. the axle measures approx 48 7/8" from back plate to back plate and has 2 1/2 " wide leaf springs. The problem I am having is the rims are just barely touching the leaf springs. I want to know what are some other rearends with this same lug pattern and gear ratio that I would be able to use.
