I've found a T speedometer with 60 MPH. Is this correct?
This can't be! It's a Stewart
I drive my '31 Budd Cab, and 45 MPH is certainty fast enough

While some speedometers were purpose built, the aftermarket types just needed to be able to indicate a top speed with some added capability for reasonable possibilities,

want to make a T model break the world speed record? find you a loooong straight down hill, accelerate to 40, put her in neutral and start prayin' haw haw!

Interesting footnote:
Henry decided to drop the speedometer feature, due to the fact that the other makes started to out-speed his Lizzie.
Off topic: A friend who is a seller here, told of rolling down some steep mountains in his A.
As gravity did its magic his steering would be lost due to wind lifting the fenders

You've confirmed what I've been thinking

Must have been a very very strong head wind!
Nah We are speaking of mountain in the Appalachian Mts.
Besides, a strong headwind would tend to slow things down.
Just to keep you busy,, if you read the ads for Ts and As. I'll just say this, he is in Altoona Pa.
