6 volt generator to 12v alternator ?

i guess i will just have to remove my 12 volt battery conversion and replace it with 6 volts so i can install an inverter to run my 12 volt windows, wipers,
stereo system etc.
I will jump right on it and make sure that i have a "good strong" 6 volts.
Just ordered an inverter.
Thanks for your assistance..

very funny g.m.

I installed a 12V Powermaster alt last spring and I am very impressed with the fit and finish. Hopefully the guts will be as nice and last a long time.

This is the one I picked out. Going with the shorty just Incase I go duel carbs or a four barrel.

You can always just go buy a 12 voltage regulator and use the same generator. I bought a 12 volt regulator for a Farmall tractor on my flathead. Pretty cheap.

I ended up getting the polished regular sized Alternator.

Use a 12v regulator with a 6v generator? Or have the generator converted to 12v?
