6 to 10 spline drive shaft coupler

I bought one from Mac's, a few years ago... Probably many suppliers have them. For myself, now, I would start with Job Lot...

Spoke with Keith @ C&G Ford Parts-Escondido,CA.
He took my info and said that a supplier was about to
come out with new 6-10 Spline couplers in the very near
future.

Didn't know if he was hep go it yet, cuz a lot of people
ask for those. I've been in need for a little while.

I think it would be great if someone came out with a "6-0" coupler. It would have the 6 spline in one end, the OD would be the same as the old 6-10 but the other end would just have a blank round hole. It's the recommended way to shorten a '33-'34 driveshaft to use in a shorter wheel base car. A 6-6 coupler doesn't have a large enough OD to be machined to fit into the tubular portion of those drive shafts.

I have posted this before but I will again. If you turn the adapter to fit the tubular driveshaft, index it on the splines not the OD. Some are not concentric.

Is Dick Spadero's "make your own length" kit still available? I think Speedway carried it for a while.
