59A rotating assembly swap-?

My block is a C69A (1946) Canadian model, I have two of these 69A engines. I didn't realize it had extra holes as these are the only flatheads I've really been inside.

Yes that blue paint wedge is enthusiastic, I guess he wanted it is very obvious how it indexes.

I CANNOT WAIT to get this engine running.

Bit of an update as of Sunday Dec 23 assembly went very well, everything checked out spec wise, cam also degreed perfectly. This is a 1946 59A block with a 4" Mercury crankshaft installed, not quite a complete Mercury rotating assembly but the heart of one. Before being torn down this was a running engine that i'd purchased from CL (an adventure unto itself). It had been stored a bit long covered with a tarp outdoors and several valve seats where pitted beyond the limits of reuse, our climate is hard on items stored outdoors.

Stock 59A rods with FLOATING BEARINGS

.020 cast Egge pistons with wrist pin located for a 4" stroke crankshaft

4" Mercury crankshaft with stock 59A main bearing caps and seals

59A flywheel and 9" clutch

59A timing gears with small crankshaft gear removed from 3-3/4" crank and used on 4" crankshaft

Although I've been very involved in managing the project, running around and collecting everything up I cannot take any credit for the machine work or assembly.
