Hi, I'm in the process of cleaning up a few intakes like the one you show. You appear to be missing the aluminum housing that sits on top of the rear studs where the fuel pump mounts. However, the small tube should press into the bottom of that aluminum fixture and run through the larger flanged tube which contains baffles to keep the oil in the block, and the oil pushrod runs through the center of the small tube to engage the oil pump. You are essentially correct that all of these parts go through the rear portal beneath the fuel pump stand. The fuel pump stand is aluminum a few inches tall that sits over the two rear mounting studs with a gasket in between. It has another flanged tube about 2 inches tall (usually painted black) that holds the oil fill cap and breather on 48 and older flatheads. There are two 5/16ths bolts that hold the fuel pump to this base. Hope this isn't too confusing perhaps another member can post a picture. Best wishes, Toby
