'57 T Bird Hard Top Removal

Anyone out there use their lift to pull the hardtop off of a T Bird? I need to come up with something. I've seen the rope and pulley system. Just thought I might rig up something with the lift arms to pull the top off and hold it temporarily while we go out *******.

The hardtop weighs about 85 pounds and they're much heavier on the back side than the front. I'd be concerned that it doesn't have the opportunity to slide off of whatever you're lifting it with.

I'd usually get the help of someone (even my wife sometimes) and we
would simply lift it off and set on a sturdy table I bought for $10 ;)
