What did Ford call this 1957 model?

2dr,looks like a hardtop but is not has a chrome cover over the post,
badged as a Fairlane 500.

As I remember, it was simply a Fairlane 500 sedan. Less chrome, a cheapy. The Fairlane 500 was top of the line whatever body it was. My Grandpa had a six powered four door that year as a company car, for an extra set of wheels around. It was known at the time as the Inca Gold, the color on the bottom.

I believe the Fairlane 500 two doors with a post were called Club Sedans, and the four doors with a post were Town Sedans, and the four door hardtops were called Victoria Hartop Sedans. Also the Fairlane 500 two door hardtops were called Victoria hardtop Coupes.

My two cents: Somebody needs to drag out a copy of a '57 catalog...
Are these links close enough???

Six or seven '57 brochure choices, pick the one you like...

...You all must see a picture in the original post that I don't.
I don't see anything either.

The information I posted in post #6 is from Ford documentation. Again, I was referring to Fairlane 500's and not the regular Fairlane's.

Here are two pages from the original 1957 Ford Sales Brochure. For 1957 (and 1958) these full size Fords were offered on two different wheelbases. The Custom and Custom 300 models had a 114" wheelbase, while the Fairlane and Fairlane 500 had a 118" wheelbase. Hope that this helps.
