Any comments or suggestions before i start to install the interior on my 56 ford victoria 2dr hrdtp that what help with install would be great. I purchased a kit from concours that is made by larrys t-birds. Thanks Tom

I also have a 56 Victoria. I ended up sending out a seat to be re-done so I didn't do much more than LOTS of cleaning as I waited for the seat. My car was done many years ago and the rear seat was ruined by mice so I had to match the front seat and it was not original. I looked at the interiors from MAC's and Larry's and they looked pretty good. I don't have any advice for you but would like to see pics of your car if you can post. Good Luck and enjoy!

Over 10 years ago, I had my bird interior done with covers from Larry's Tbird. The guy put the seat cover on over the plastic,like suggested above. He clamped it to the frame,let it sit, and worked on the rest. Came back, stretched it and clamped it every day for 3 days before he set the hog clips. He said that was the secret to getting a good fit. I don't know, but it still looks just like he finished it.

Put new foam in the seats while they are apart,I do not think a foam kit is available so you will have to find some. I would not recommend using the foam from the fabric stores since it is not very dense and probably would not last very long,when I redone the front seat in my 55 I got foam from a foam supplier for all the foam and it was not cheap but I got a firm foam.
