Hi,
I am a regular on the Early V8 forum and I am writing for a friend. Does anyone know where he can get a bearing for inside the Power Steering unit on a 1956 T-Bird? You can reach John at zoegrant@msn.com

You might call Joblot automotive in Queens Village NY and ask if they sell a rebuild kit for the pump. The original style pump does have a bushing. Or you can buy an Eaton replacement pump from you local auto parts supplier. Those have a bearing instead. They dont look like the original pump, but the reservoir fits on perfectly and they bolt on like the original. In lieu of that, Lares Mfg can rebuild your pump. Concours parts probably sells rebuilt pumps if you send in your old one.
