Can someone who has a four door Fairlane provide a picture of where their sun visors are mounted? My 4 door hardtop didn't have any visors when I bought it. The head liner has been changed so it is hard to tell where the mounting holes are. I had a friend who gave me a set out of a four door and I'm hoping they will work in my 4dr hardtop. Thanks in advance!

I don't know if the Hardtop mounting boss is the same on the sedan, but there should be a space between the windshield pillar garnish molding at the top and the windshield top garnish molding where the headliner is exposed. If you can peel it back there, you should see the mounting holes for the sunvisor mounting boss which should be placed over the top of bot the pillar and WS top garnish moldings.

I just had a new headliner put in my 55. The trimmer left a hole where the centre of the visor bracket goes up inside. I then wriggled my little finger around in the hole found the bottom screw fixing hole, loosely inserted the fixining screw, then using a very fine pick found the other two holes. Using a fine pick or even a straightened out safety pin or needle you won't or at least shouldn't make holes that won't close over later. Just take your time.
I would think the four door hardtop would use the same brackets as a four dour sedan as the roofline is similar, though I haven't seen what brackets they use.
