56 Merc turn signal issue

Hi all, 56 Merc and my turn signals stopped working. They were always touchy and I had to push down on the indicator rod hard to get them to work, so I figured it was the indicator switch and changed it out with a new one. Feels much better but still no turn signals working. I also checked the turn signal fuse and changed the relay with no luck. The only thing that happens when I move the indicator lever is a clicking noise under the hood from what the included picture shows. Thanks for any help

Scratch that, figured it out. Blue horn wire and blue turn signal wire were switched
