I usually hang out on the Ford Barn sites for engines without valve covers. This is my first time on this section.
A friend owns a 1956 with a 4 bbl "tea pot" carburetor. He has had the carb re-built several times by supposed experts and no one can get it to stop leaking. From what I understand this style of carb has been a problem child. I have been telling him to replace the carb with an Edlebrock carb. He has spent more on re-builds that a new Edlebrock. My question is: How many CFM should he get? Thanks for any help.
