Im just about finished restoring my 56 headlight buckets.I used SPI black epoxy primer and they look great.Im in need of the captured nuts that the HL adjusting screws thread into.These were plastic but i can use square metal nuts.I just need to know what thread size would i need.Thanks

The reason why those are made of nylon is because there is water and salt and everything else blowing in there on the highway. If the nuts were metal, they would surely seize at some point and make it impossible to ever use your adjustment.
