'56 Ford turn signal problem

Hey Guys! My recently acquired '56 Fairlane has some small issues that I want to fix. One is that the turn signal switch doesn't cancel. I removed the wheel & observed that there is no canceling cam device on it. I see that they are repopping them, but how does it attach? Thanks in advance. - F F
 
I just developed an issue with mine:

The Turn Signals work, however, only the L and R front along with the R rear turn lamp
operates. The L rear Lamp does not operate.
All the Park lamps operate and the brake lights operate. That means the the L rear 1157 works and the wiring is fine. I did a continuity test all the way to the harness up to the steering stem. But not from the stem to the Turn Signal Switch. Anyone know how I could test the device?

Well, I have discovered that I have the wrong steering wheel on this car. I found a nice & correct one on ebay w/the cancelling cam attached on the back. Should be here late next week. Thanks to those who responded! - F F
