56 F100 pressure brake light switch

All that I have used for the past 20 years are unreliable. I converted to a switch on the pedal inside the car.
 
Search Ron Francis Wire Works and then go to his brake switch parts.His new low pressure silicone resistant switch has been better than anything else I have went through including the Harley Davidson one. If you want to get away from master cylinder switch ,plug it and use one of his mechanical ones.
 
I bought a Ron Francis switch at the Street Rod Nats in OKC. Installed it in the parking lot at the motel that night. I lived in Minneaplois at the time. By the time I got over the Minnesota line the switch was bad.
 
i used a lever type (standard ignition part) on the outside of the firewall on my '54. the pressure switches do go out too soon.
