56 door control link?

So got the pass side door working good. Then move over to drivers side and find a problem. On the door control link the spring at the handle is missing. I have been looking everywhere and do not see it anywhere. It is listed as part of the control link so do not think there ever was just the spring available. Have not even found the entire control link anywhere. Anyone know of a substitute for this spring?




EDIT
I did find the spring that goes on the latch that looks about the same size. Do you think the latch spring would work on the door control link?

Back in 2017, while I was doing my door re-adjustment, I replaced the driver door broken spring on the door latch remote assembly while I was at it. That spring was broken when I got the car in 1972, so all those years I had to manually push the interior door handle down.
I ordered a couple of them so I would have a spare in case I ever needed another one. I am looking at the spare right now. It came from Classic Auto Supply co. (CASCO), but that is not who I ordered them from. Back then, I most likely ordered them from Mac's (Ecklers). The Casco part # is 21910 on the package. See if Mac's still sells them or Casco. They claim to be Thunderbird Specialists, so if they don't there are other T-bird part suppliers that might have it. These springs fit many years of Ford's and many different models.
