What a great photo of new 1955 Fords. Thanks to 5851a

Some see cars, I see money. Lots of it!
That depends. Those cars in the dealer photo don't even exist anymore. They went to the crusher decades ago. No money there.
Some of us own a couple of '55's in fairly good shape (including my '55 Fairlane and '55 Courier sedan delivery wagon), both having had cheap barn-style body-off-frame restorations years ago. But they're not what I'd call show-stoppers. Don't think there's a lot of money there if you tried to sell 'em. But I never cared. I built them to drive them till they died, or until I died.
As far as having to spend a lot of money on them, I don't. My first restoration of the Fairlane didn't even cost me $10 grand back then, but I did all the work myself down to the finest detail (except chrome plating).
That resto was done in '92 and the engine hasn't cooled off since. That was the real value I was after.

Ahhhh Kultulz, those racing slicks in the back are a dead giveaway!

Remember the CASLER CHEATER SLICKS (7in)? Legal for the street or strip (class legal)?

Dang, those look humongous. Guess you'd need to rethink your speedo driven gear teeth if you were planning to use those.
