55 wheel cover center medallion

Has anybody had the plastic center medallion fall out of the wheel cover. I have one wheelcover that is missing all the tabs in the back so the medallion will need to be attached with some kind of glue.

What have you used and has your solution held up over time?

I've used the epoxy they sell in the golf shop to glue the head to the shaft. It seems to be a bit more "flexible" when set up, and will release with the heat from a heat gun at lower temperatures. Normally, I use JB Weld around the shop, but that Golfsmith stuff isn't as tough if you've got to remove it. Should work on a wheel cover.

Not knowing for sure how it fits in the wheel cover...

Clear silicone sealer?
It sticks to most anything really well, won't get brittle and fall off, and you can cut thru it easily if you need to.
A bead of it around the outer rear edge of the medallion to the backside of the wheel cover might work just fine.

I second the silicone it will fill any voids you can strap it on the inside with duct tape won't look pretty but?
