55 T-Bird overdrive relay placement

Hi, Does anyone know the correct location of the overdrive relay for a 1955 Thunderbird. Also does the overdrive cable go on the left side of the steering wheel or the right side. Any help will be appreciated. 631-738-7712
 
The relay goes just about in the middle of the firewall, down an inch or so from the lip.

The pull cable goes to the right of the steering column.
 
Picture shows correct location of overdrive relay in relation to starter solenoid. If you look carefully in this area you will find two dimples in the firewall (if it has not been heavily painted over) where you will punch the mounting holes.
