55 customline script locations

I bought my 55 Customline last year completely shaved except for the side moldings. I have decided I want to add some bling by installing the original badging, script, and hood ornament. Naturally I would like to install them in the factory location but there does not seem to be any local cars (Portland, Or metro area) that I can use for comparison. Maybe I'm being way too picky but does anyone have an idea or know of an online template of sorts that might help?

Thanks dmsfrr, I have been checking out the images around the web and I guess I'll just end up using those and get as close as I can.

The Customline script on the front fenders is spaced about 1/2" above the top of the trim strip to the bottom of the script. Be careful not to drill holes too far back as the stud may interfere with the cowl.

Thanks Daves55sedan, any idea of what the dim from the door front to the letter "e" would be? I also have the Fordomatic which I believe goes on the driver's side of the trunk lid but I'll need to check that. I think I can position everything else from images on the web. Thanks!

Don't know if these pictures are any help? These 1955 Ford Customlines were assembled in Australia. All came with the 272 Y Block together with Three Speed Manual Transmission. There were no Fairlanes or any other body styles apart from the Mainline Coupe Utility, which was unique to Australia. These days, there are not too many of these original 55 Fords around.

Here are two pictures of a neat "survivor", an Australian 1955 Ford Mainline Coupe Utility. This car now lives in the USA. There are not many of these left in good condition in Australia these days. These photos were actually taken in California a few years ago, and the Ute has since been sold.

Here is another Australian 1955 Ford Customline Sedan. It is fitted with Mag Wheels and the Reversing Lights from a 56 Fairlane.
