Senior moment here. Can someone shoot me a picture of how the throttle arm at the firewall is linked to the bell crank that is bolted to the intake manifold. The arm has a short link about 3" that is supposed to connect to the bell crank but it wants to pull back and forward. The back part of the bell crank wants to work up and down to work the carb. properly. Not dealing with an automatic so don't care about that end. I remember this was like an erector set when I took apart but it has been awhile now. I know I am missing something simple,just can't put my finger on it. Working on a 4 barrel car.......Thank you.
