I need the 1/4" or 3/8" rod that goes across the top front of the radiator opening that connects the radiator frame together.

If it helps any, that rod is the same on the '55 and 56 Ford passenger cars also and does not matter if the car had a V8 or 6-cyl. You should be able to find plenty of them in the arizona Hidden Valley or Black canyon area salvage yards.
