54 customline stabilizer bushing

If you stick it in hot water, you may be able to make them pliable enough to slide over the end. Otherwise, slicing them seems to be the only way.

I was able to get them on my '54 Ranch Wagon. Not sure exactly how but I seem to remember using spray silicone. I do remember it was a PITA but it can be done without cutting them.

Most new ones especially polyurethane are split. Cut it on the flat side and install it over the bar. The mount keeps it in place.
If you don’t want to do that heat them up in water to make them more pliable and silicon lube the shaft.

The new ones I have are rubber and not cut just like the originals. I have not had time to try any of the suggestions, hopefully will have time this weekend.

I used these with the matching end links on my '54 installation was under 30 minutes for both. https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/9.5156 A lot of the aftermarket rubber is now coming from offshore and it's garbage not uncommon for it to compress and crack in under a year. These are USA made quality the car seems to be more stable with these.

10-4 on that statement!

Polyurethane (depending on durometer rating) is the way to go (IMO).

I hate a swishy car, even a LINCOLN.
