53 Mainline brake parts ???

NAPA has almost all the parts except the Hardware sets & the rear shoes
( think that is what they said May be the front shoes,have to check the part #'s.)

What I would like to do is install a duel master Cly. instead of the single that would be stock.
Is there one that would be a direct interchange.

Try Rock Auto for shoes and small parts.The 53 ford had good brakes,I would stay with stock.Many other cars used Bendix brakes, try GM dealers.

Bill, you should be able to get most if not all the stock brake parts for the '53 at Joblot Automotive in Queens, NY, 800-221-0172. Not sure about the duel master cyl. I'd check some of the street rod web sites and/or magazines for that.
