Installed the windshield in my 53 ford Ranchwagon. It has the bottom chrome trim piece only. The trim kept falling off during installation. I removed the trim, and installed the windshield. Is the trim piece just cosmetic or does it serve another purpose. I plan on just leaving it off. I think if I grind the lip off the trim, I might be able to slide it in the groove if required.
