S Stdblk40 Junior Member Jan 25, 2015 #1 City Tulsa State OK I have found that the 53 flatty came out of a customline and the oilpan runs very close to the steering rods. I think a pan from a truck or a merc that has a rear sump would work better. Does anyone have a source fora pan?
