52 f1 steering box removal

Just need a little guidance. I have removed the 3 bolts and pitman arm.
The manifold seems to be in the way. Do I have to remove? I haven't removed any bolts from the inside cab yet.

Any info/tips would be appreciated.

A suggestion would be the 49 - 52 Ford F-Series Manual (they added a 52 supplement to the current versions).

Remove the steering Wheel
Remove the cover plate around the pedals.
Remove the bolts (cap screws) on the steering drop
Remove the pitman arm
Remove the three mounting bolts
Loosen the steering column clamp
Remove steering gear from underneath the truck.

Hopefully it is clear that the steering gear and shaft are remove from the column, leaving the column inside the cab.
