'52 Customline Windshield Remeoval

Does anyone have a safe process for removal of the windshield on a 52 Customline?
I have found one locally, it has the chrome trim, which I'm not going to replace.
Is the best process to cut the rubber from the inside to gain removal?

I would cut the rubber from the outside. Your going to replace it anyway so why not get the easiest access to it. Just make sure you use a cutter with a thin blade and don't pry on it.
