Here is the picture out f the parts book. The catalog list two TO brgs for 51 the 78-7580-A which is the same as the early Ford and 8A-7580-A which is the smaller brg like 49-51 Ford. Maybe a early and late 51?
There were two pp's for '51. The early one has shorter fingers for use with the big Ford bearing. Clutch fork finger needs to be part# 4079. First determine what pp you have, early 51 was either 0988 or 1310. Late 51 to 53 is 1318 or 1319 had the longer fingers and smaller bearing.

Both of my early 1951 cars had the big 70-7600-B bushing instead of the bearing for the pilot bearing. The flywheel 8CM-6375-A didn't change when the transmissions changed in February of 1951. The throw out bearing had to change for the late 1" 10-spline input shaft. The earlier cars all still had the 1 3/8" 10-spline input that used the old style TO. The whole TO hub changed for the smaller input. It's sort of a plate with retainers on it. The 52 & 53 cars all had a similar set up but the pedals changed to swing types so the clutch release arm is completely different than the old equalizer set up used in the early cars. The late 51 bell housing is a one year only set up in order to use the old pedals. This link shows the 1M7561. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3362316242...M6rGBb7Ke3iVw0QWsMdlOoKw==|tkp:Bk9SR6ycue3hZg
