51 Lincoln brake conversion to disc

Need some help from the forum. Looking for anyone who has done a conversion from drum to disc on a 51 Lincoln 4 Door Sports Sedan and if the work done needed any cutting and welding. Also will need some leads on getting the conversion kits. I have found kits on speedway, jamco, and classic disc brakes and was also wondering what others who used these companies have thought about their parts and service. Thanks for any and all help that is out there.

Suggest you first contact vendor to determine the availability of a kit to fit your application.
I have done a conversion on a '51 Mercury but suspect that it has different dimensions than a Lincoln.
Questions to ask.
Does the kit allow use of original wheels? (bolt pattern)
Is there machining required for the spindle? (to fit wheel bearings)
Just an example of kit that allows use of original wheels and no machining required to spindle.-------------------------
