I've been losing my hood bumpers resulting in dings in my paint. I bought a new set from Mac's and want to know which ones go where. They are different sizes (3). I tried installing one and can't get the nipple completly through the hood flange. What is the secret. I am afraid to pull too hard for fear of tearing the nipple off. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I see I have an "M" between pickup and hood so please disregard it.

I did just what Seth suggested; I used some silicon spray to get the nubs to slide into the holes. I will say that the rubber bumpers don't last very long before the nubs tear off.

The larger one is toward the firewall smaller one in the middle and the real small one in the front. Ken

After you get the nubs through the holes try 3M black weather strip adhesive. Make sure that any silicon and/or soap is not left on the rubber or metal.

There are two flat bumpers the size of a quarter and I can't figure out where they go. I got all the others installed.

The flat round bumpers go on the sides of the firewall (one on each side) in the area that is covered by the hood when it is closed.
