51 Ford Fender Skirt mounting help

Bought some fender skirts for a 51 Ford, and you get 2 small metal tabs with each skirt. Can someone tell me how these 2 metal tabs attatch to the 1/4 panels, or to the skirts ?

It has been a long time, But I think I remember the tabs being on the skirt and they went in a slot on the fender edge. This was on a 49 which i think it is the same. Like I say it has been so long I could be remembering wrong LOL. Bill

Would be nice to see the front and rear lower edge of the skirt where the clips most likely mount

The clips attach to end of skirt so the can be slipped to each end of fender opening so they don'nt drop out then mechchanism clips up to top of opening for final tightening.
