Robby - Glad to hear of another M-H owner. There are a few of us that hang around here and over at the Ford Truck Enthusiasts site. What are your M-H model numbers? Stu McMillan

I met this guy a couple of years ago in a junkyard in Holland, Mi. His name was Rod, and he had a MH 51 F1 panel Ranger and a 51 F1 MH pickup and a 4 car hauler that was a 51 F8 MH. Conventional cab, not a COE. Those trucks on the back of the trailer were just stunning! He uses the display for parades! If i can find a pic, i will post. Ken

Rod's trucks are very nice. I think the Big Job MH is a '51 F-7, but the Ranger, F-1 MH pickup, F-2 MH, and F-3 MH are all '52s. He's been interested MHs for a lot of years and has one heck of a collection. Another person that Robby will want to be in contact with is Mark Mossell who has user name "thechassisman" over on FTE. He is putting together a MH Registry. Stu

Robby, Thought about another one... I think it's Chucks Trucks? He knows alot about restos of the MH's. Ken

Rob - I've attached a thread from the FTE site that has a lot of discussion of MHs in general, mostly F-2/F-3s, but more importantly has Chuck's explanation of the "Positive" "Compensating" transfer case details.

I've known of several F-1 MHs in your area. One was a Ranger panel truck conversion. If you have a Ranger, Mark Mossell will really want to connect with you even more since he has three of them. I have one too but don't know 2% of what Mark and Chuck know about them. Stu

Buddy scavenged the remains of some runnung gears from a wrecking yard. One was put back as a full leingth truck frame with an 8RT and the other made into a whoopie with a flat 6 motor. Wants to get a cab & front metal for the truck and use it. Probably a better frame as the original is cobbed up with plow frame & repairs. Both drive around in 2 wheel, as the rearends are mix-n-match parts, unsure of ratio compatability, need to test that. Found some late wheels & tires that fit, look better than the originals. Since there is no lietrature on these, it's all been by guess & by gosh, & I suppose some fun.

Jim is a real nice guy, and his Sheridan Blue '52 F-1 M-H is fantastic. I'd been envious of it even before seeing the VT article. He also has an equally nice '50, IIRC, F-1 two wheel drive. Stu

I wonder if this is part a collection that was stored in these neck of the woods. I think a told you about the F1 F5 M-H snogo c/c, the 51 F1 M-H,
the 50 panel M-H, and the 52 F3 M-H. The 52 was a coastal vehicle and had rust/rot holes all over the body and 100,000 miles. It was for sale when it was here 10+ years ago.
