Does anyone know what happened to McCully Racing engines? Their web site is still up but I can't get any response to E-Mail or call. They make a relocation kit for the TFI module on i 5.0L engine.

If you cannot find a kit you might try to dissect a mid 90's Ford pickup wiring harness. Both my 95's had it relocated to the left hood hinge area. I think LMR has one but it may just be reboxed from McCully.

Interesting ...

FORD offered two TFI SYSTEMS (ICM mounting), OPEN and CLOSED BOWL.

The OPEN had the ICM mounted on the DIST BOWL and was subject to engine heat, They then offered a CLOSED BOWL design where the ICM was mounted on a remote heat sink away from engine heat.

The kit you are describing. It has a harness and mount to accomplish the same thing with an OPEN BOWL DIST?

Real easy to make your own. I've made a few. Scan your local Pick-N-Pull. A lot of '90s Ford products have the heat sink block. Aerostar vans, trucks, etc. All you have to do is get the heat sink block, fab up a 3 wire harness and move your TFI to the inner fender. There.....you just saved $75.
