starter spins fine when cold but drags when hot. any ideas?

Bushing or bad cables or dirty ground

Cables too small or poor connections.

The most likely culprits are loose or corroded connections. Check everything from the battery to the starter. On occasion worn bushings will give the same symptom. Did this just start happening ? Refer to this thread. http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121605
