49 Ford Steering Wheel Color

Hi folks,

Does anybody know what they called the paint color on 49 Ford Tudor steering wheels?

I checked the V-8 Club's 49-51 Ford book on this and found the answer on page 3-21. They book indicates the color is "off white". There is no specific name attached to this color. The original wheels that I have seen are an off white with light gray cast to them.
