is there any adjustment to make the rear doors go forward i have about a half inch or more gap between the front and rear doors . and theres almost no gap between the rear door and quarter panel... 1949 ford 4 door... thanks for any help
Do you have a repair manual? There are some instructions in there.... don’t know how much it will help.... I think you need to use a porta-power carefully.... Mark
Placing washers or shims between the hinge and body on the inner mount screws will move the door forward a little but what you describe sounds like it needs to have some serious modifications, like bending the hinges.
is there a way to bend the hinges without removing them? I seen in the service manual about putting in a block and pushing the door closed but it looks that will make them go the wrong way...
