49 conv. top frame

Started restoring my 49 cov. and ran into a problem with top irons. The top frame has a different bolt pattern where it is attached to the side of the body . There are 4 cage nuts on the body and the irons on the car only have holes for 2 bolts and these didn't line up. They drilled 2 holes in the top bracket to make the connection. One of the part #'s on one of the top sections is A7653T38 R H and A7653T39 L H. I have an original 49&50 chassis parts catalogue but it doesn't list the top irons. Can someone I D or match the year with this part number ?
