48 ford underhood light

Hello All and Happy Holidays, I am new here i recently aquired a 48 Business cpe that has been in my neighborhood my whole life. the original owner passed on around 1968, I was 14 at the time and thought I was going to buy the car from his sisters. I had everything J. C. Whitney sold for this car picked out. it is a good thing I didn't get the car at that time.
The car sat untouched since 2003 and after getting it running i pulled the engine because a clip came off one of the valve guides and half of it was moving around. A replacement engine is almost together to install until the original engine gets fixed.
My question today is, there was a light mounted on the firewall at one time, it had been removed and was tie-wrapped to something the power wire was still connected to the voltage regulator is this a factory accessory or aftermarket? The car has a trunk light, factory turn signals, side view mirrors, and factory fog or driving lights, and I believe a seat cover from the dealer or factory, no radio.

That light is the Ford accessory one. It is missing only a little rubber bumper at top of push button that contacts hood.

Here's the box mine came in. Thought I still had installation instructions but don't. You can see how mine's installed. I put a toggle switch on the side to turn off for shows. Got gigged for it (the switch) at last concourse judging. Should have just removed the bulb. You shouldn't have any problem re-installing in the same holes that were used before.
