does any one know the resistance value for engine temp sender cold to hot range? i have one indicating hot when engine is less than warmed up completly. customer is running singal sender with one wire connector.
fuel and oil gauges ok.

1948 Fords should have a sender on each head and there should be a wire crossing from one sender to the other (one sender needs to have two areas to connect wires to it)

Early Ford gauges do not use resistance sending units; they use bi metallic senders as in the attached picture.
