48-53 fan shroud

did the 48 to 53 f1's have a fan shroud on the 8rt engine. if they did where can I get one

Yes they did. All F-1 thru F-6, 48-52 used the same shroud on the V8 and and obviously a different on a 6 cyl. Watch Ebay for them, they appear alot.

The ones i have seen are only on three sides (open at the bottom). is this correct, or have they been "modified"? thanks, jack

THose are modified to make it easier to remove so you don't have to mess with the fan, etc....

I found the shroud for my truck less than a mile from my home.. how cool is that....
