Hi, all!
Having problems getting my lights to work.....i have a new wire harness from Tyree Harris & a new headlight switch from Dennis Carpenter.
My truck is equipped with this gray box coil resistor, we think this MAY be the problem. I have another pickup (46 1/2ton V8) with a different resistor (see other 2 photos) it works like a charm. Any ideas on how to fix? Any idea where i can source a resistor in the 2 photos?
THANK YOU!!

The resistor is for ignition, should have nothing to do with power to the lights. There are breakers there, check with a muti meter or test light to see iff power going in to the breaker is also going out to the lights. Should be easy to follow where the power works...and where it stops with a test light. start at the battery hot line, and find where it ends.

If you pry the cover up on the circuit breaker you can clean the contacts on the relays. Use a contact file. You can then push the cover back into place. The resistor for the coil is the smaller of the two devices. If that is bad it can be removed and replaced. Try Third Gen Auto in Tenn

Rawlir, which one is the one that worked, the one under the dash? That's a 11A-12250-D. I have an NOS one if you need it. I have a used one that shows continuity like in your picture on the left. If you need either P.M. me

I am grateful to 1942deluxe (John) He diagnosed my problem, sold me the right part, i got it installed yesterday, all good!
THANK YOU!!
