47 sedan windshield install

I did this 15 years ago but don't remember how I did it. I remember something about string and dish soap and see references to that in other threads but don't remember the details.

Anyone know of a video showing how it's done or more detailed instructions? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey there world traveller, good to see you back here again. If I’m not mistaken, you should have a couple years worth of pictures and stories to share with us!

This is from Mac Van Pelt's website. I followed it installing new glass on my 40 sedan. It states it’s for 40-46. Be careful how you pull the rope/string out. Do it slowly and be careful not to rip the rubber gasket.
